The museum houses works of art dating from the 7th to the 21st century.
Of particular interest are the mediaeval section with its precious sculptural and pictorial artefacts from several of the city’s religious buildings, the 16thcentury art gallery and the floor dedicated to the 20th century, with particular reference to the drawings of the Futurist Antonio Sant’Elia and the abstract works of the “Gruppo Como” group of artists.
